According to a report byGazetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Premier League side Newcastle have been linked with Lazio midfielder Guendouzi, with the Frenchman reportedly among the players the Serie A club are looking to sell. The former Arsenal player is under contract until June 2028 and has been valued at €40 million (£33m/$45m) by Lazio.

Guendouzi made 48 appearances for Lazio in the recently concluded season, registering one goal and five assists. However, his potential move to Newcastle hinges on the future of midfielder Tonali, who has attracted interest from Italian heavyweights Juventus. Reports in Italy have also suggested that Guendouzi is actually seeking a contract renewal at Lazio, and that Newcastle's name is being used by his representatives to boost his value and secure a higher wage from his current club.
